Rare Antique Vintage 5 Cent Candy Machine Vending St. Paul Minn Chocolate 1923

Up for sale is this nice Vintage 5 Cent candy machine. The only problem is the back is missing and it was mounted on a wall with the wood backing that someone made for it. Also there seems to be no coin box. It is dated 1923 below the crank. Made by the Chocolate Vending Company from St.

The paper label on the top insert has a hole in the C. Machine refuses coin when empty but my guess is that this unit still works. This candy machine just has the look to it with the orange color and the nice decal. Measures 34 inches tall by 4.5 inches wide and 6 inches deep. Would be an awesome display piece.

Someone drilled a small hole on the top and bottom to hold the wood backing on. It wouldn't be hard to make a sheet metal back for it.

No key but lock can be taken off to have a key made for it at any locksmith shop. Personally I think it's just fine the way it is. Came out of a long closed down feed mill in St.
