Hello and thank you for taking your time to view our item. Offered for sale is the exact shown vintage collectible original 1950's circa National Vendors brand large floor model Candy vending machine. Machine shown in the attached photo's is the exact machine being offered for sale. This model of machine was made sometime during the time frame of 1952 until 1959 in St. Machine is still in it's original condition, with original paint.

Machine is all mechanical in forms of operation. It does have a basic working fluorescent light inside, with a switch on the back of the machine that makes for turning the light "On" or "Off" easily. In regards to the mechanics of the machine, it was working as it should up until it was moved from it's lifelong home about 5 years ago. I believe it just needs some minor adjusting, and some tweaking and it will be operational once again.

I pulled out the coin mechanism, and it had a spring the had come unattached and I was a little unsure were to hook it back to, but I do have it. Machine has original coin trays inside as well. Machine is very large floor model machine as shown. Machine weighs close to 300lbs at least and requires a moving dolly to move it. Machine stands 56 inches in height, 40 inches left to right, and is 18 inches front to back.

This was the very first model of this machine to be produced, and it still has the original teal green paint it came with. Does have some surface rust spots as shown. Machine actually came from our local county court house, were it set for many years.

When court house was remodeled the machine was moved to another city owned building and still used up until about five years ago when the city decided to sale this property. Machine has been sitting in storage since. I have wiped it down, and basically blown the dust off. Needs a good thorough cleaning, and some minor adjusting, and your good to go.

If wanting to completely restore, this would not be a very hard piece to do, as it only has surface rust spots. You would need a new locking mechanism but that is about it. Rare to find this original first produced model of this machine, especially still in this good of condition. Machine must be picked up in Kentucky, as it weighs over 300lbs.
