VINTAGE 1950s OAK PREMIERE GUM AND CARD VENDOR COIN OP MACHINE w KEY & CARDS

Offered here is an original, vintage coin operated vending machine, made in the mid 1950's. The front is embossed: PREMIERE GUM AND CARD VENDOR... It comes with some of the original cards, which were found still inside the machine. Also includes keys to open the TOP (to re-stock the machine) and BOTTOM, to remove the coins.

This is a 2-cent machine - it takes TWO pennies. It is missing the decal, which should be on the center glass. One side dispenses "TARGET: MOON" (outer space scenes) cards, the other side dispenses "Walt Disney ZORRO" cards. Both of the card sets were made by TOPPS Chewing Gum, T.

In 1958 - shortly after this machine was made. You will get 20 original cards from EACH set - a total of 40 cards. If you include the cards behind the front glass, on either side of the machine, you get 44 cards. It appears that this machine has been in storage since the 1950's.

I would call the overall condition FINE. Please read the entire description, look at the pictures, and GRADE FOR YOURSELF.

It is in ALL ORIGINAL / UN-RESTORED condition - just as it was put away, decades ago. The biggest flaw is some paint wear, and just a hint of surface rust stains, in small area on the BACK side.

See close-up with pencil point. It is a bit dusty, and could use a good cleaning, by someone who knows what they're doing.

There is just a bit of pitting to the chrome parts, on the front of the machine - not too bad. It has some paint rubs, here & there. The black rubber "feet, " on the underside, have pretty much disintegrated, but parts of them are still present. Includes the 2 removable weights inside, (one for each side) that rest on top of the cards. When 2 pennies are inserted, and the handle is turned, the top of a card comes out (it alternates sides) and a gumball is dispensed.

I have tested it and the functions work fine. This machines works and displays great - it just needs some cleaning.
