Vintage 1¢ Penny Ford Gumball MachineRare Embossed Script All-Round Glass Globe

Up for sale is a Vintage Ford 1 Cent Penny Gum Ball Machine thats in great working condition. The base and all inner parts are made of metal and the red painted finish shows some age and route wear, but overall is in good shape for its agesee pictures. Im guessing the machine is from somewhere between the 1920s and the 1940s.

It dispenses one small round gumball for a penny, and operates as smoothly as it should when you drop in a penny and slide the lever. This earlier model has the dish type dispenser to catch the gumballs coming out of the machine. The serial number on the globe ring is 36017. The globe is a very rarely seen Ford-Embossed Script, All-Round Glass Globe. It does have some bubbles in the glass, which is believed to be normal for this globe.

There are no chips or cracks, but does have a few very, very tiny flea-bite nicks at the bottom which is a common occurrence when the globe ring is assembled onto the glass. Another eBayer informed me that the globe is most likely a reproduction because it has lesser amounts of bubbles in the glass than originals which had more bubbles.

Overall, the globe looks to be in great condition. Also comes with a vintage Ford lock bar and a small newer padlock with 2 keys. Any question, please contact me.
