Original c1930 "Pascall Pearl Drops" Vending Machine. This lovely "Pascall Pearl Drops" vending machine is in "as found" condition and has not been repaired or restored.

The semi-circular vending machine would have been mounted on an ouside wall, where it would have dispensed packets of Pearl Drops in orange, lime, lemon and raspberry flavours for 1 penny a packet. The painted metal front to this machine has suffered the inevitable scuffs, scratches and areas of paint loss that you would expect from a item of this age and use. There are also signs of surface rust. However, the stylish lettering and illustrations are still clear and legible, with a good depth of colour. Unfortunately, there is no key to the machine and I'm not sure if it would internal workings are present, however, the machine is heavy.

It measures 73.5 cm (29 inches) high and 15 cm (5 1/4 inches) wide. This rare vending machine makes a great display item, and is a wonderful piece of social history.
