Vintage Carlton Candy Company Rocket Bubble Gum Machine Chicago Illinois 1950's

Vintage 1950's Carlton Candy Company Carlton Rocket Bubble Gum Machine. These machines are becoming harder to find with all the pieces. The Carlton label is still intact. There are a couple of areas on the left side of the label that are coming up or missing.

There is a a torn part under the "U" in the word "bubble". The plastic has cracks in it which is typical of the age. The clear plastic shows yellowing due to age. The red plastic shows discoloration in areas.

The black rubber feet on the bottom show cracking and have some missing pieces. One rubber foot is missing. Mechanism to insert penny still moves. There are rust spots on the metal channel and door where the gum is dispensed.

The metal point at the top of the rocket still unscrews and the red top and the clear plastic can be removed for cleaning or any restoration you may wish to do. The red plastic top has cracking. It is still in one piece and is not completely broken apart like many others. If you wish for additional photos, please message me and I will gladly provide them. This Rocket is 67 years old.

It is obviously used and shows signs of it's age. It is still a really cool decorative or collector piece. I will place bubble wrap on the interior of the rocket clear compartment to help insure it arrives to you as you see it in the listing. The exterior will be wrapped with many layers of bubble wrap and surrounded by packing peanuts. The rocket is approximately 21 inches tall and 7.5 inches at it's widest part.
