Vintage Venco Candyette Confections Vending Machine, Candy CoinOp 5 cents, 1940s
This is a vintage Venco Candyette Confections Vending Machine made in St. It has a 5 cent coin entry, and reads "Try a Tasty Treat Every Day". It measures about 23 1/2" tall by 7 3/8" wide and 5 3/4 deep. I think it is from the later 1940's or early 1950's timeframe, possibly earlier given the 5 cent denomination. It appears to all be there, and the coin mechanism works and drops the nickel into the appropriate slot of the crank rod, but the side knob will not turn the rod (may need some lubrication or maintenance). It is clean inside, and the unit is made of aluminum so relatively light weight. The front graphics are in great condition, with only a few minor scrapes along the top edge. The case has more scratches and scrapes, and there are mount holes (to a wall) on the back. It appears to be sized to vend candy bars, and has a window on front to insert the candy type. The front lock is loose (has the cam on it), and there is no key.

I don't see any dents or flaws, other than the paint scrapes on rear case. Please check the pictures, they are an essential part of the description and condition - zoom in to see the condition details. This coin operated vending machine came from a large collection of advertising items, that I acquired. Watch my listings, as I will be listing further items from this collection in the near future.
