Up for your consideration is a vintage COLUMBUS gumball peanut vending machine that is fully functional. It features an octagonal-shaped globe that is embossed on one side with "COLUMBUS REGISTERED" and on the opposite side has its original decal. It is stamped PAT'D. 1932 on the metal rim; the number 325 is stamped on the top metal plate. The jade green porcelain is in very good condition, with a few points of wear. Included are two AMCO locks and one key. There are no cracks or breaks in the glass; it has one nick/surface scrape that measures about 3/8 long (see Photo 12). The glass also has rim nicks and a few surface scratches. Overall this vending machine is in very nice condition. We are not vending machine specialists, so we have tried to capture the condition of this piece as best as we could with the accompanying photos. This collectible has been in our family for decades and has always been stored inside.
