Early Vtg Peerless Get'Em Hot 5 Cent Coin Op Peanut Vending Dispenser Machine

Up for sale is an early vintage Peerless "Get'Em Hot" 5-cent coin-operated peanut vending dispenser, an excellent candidate for restoration, display, or parts. This is an early example, believed to be from before Peerless later became ASCO (Automatic Sales Company). &####128204; IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ. It has not been plugged in, as the power cord is very frayed.

Original Glass: YES with original decal - often missing! Cord is heavily frayed; I did not attempt to power it on. One crack on the back. One small crack near the lower back.

Still retains the original factory decal, which is commonly missing on these machines. Bottom chrome is in pretty nice shape overall. Some old burnt peanuts and burnt oil residue at the bottom. I have not removed the glass to clean it. Sounds like there may be a few coins inside possibly even old war nickels if you're lucky!

Does not include the cup holder that would have originally been mounted on the right side (left side when facing the machine). Despite the issues, this machine appears to be a very restorable example and should clean up nicely with some care and attention. Their machines were commonly found in drugstores, five-and-dimes, and general stores across America. Peerless later transitioned into ASCO (Automatic Sales Company), making earlier Peerless-branded machines increasingly desirable to collectors. Models featuring the "Get'Em Hot" branding and original glass decals are especially sought after due to their classic Americana appeal and relative scarcity.
