This piece is great for those interested in vintage vending machines and the history of American manufacturing. The machine was made in Minneapolis, Minnesota and is a unique addition to any collection.
I have tried putting a buffalo nickel in it and it works! It looks like this machine would need a good scrubbing and some oil to clean it up more. It is really nice to have the light (somewhat) working right off the bat, as well as having a key. The cord is approximately 7 feet, 3 inches long.
Various imperfections/scratches & scuffs in the paint of the base and on the logo on its glass globe. This machine has a key, but it is not the original. Regardless, it works as it should. This machine comes with its original hardware to bolt onto the square base. The part that makes it be able to mount on a peg stand, like the olden days.
There are no cracks in the original red plastic cap, no cracks in the globe. The inside of the globe is very dirty still, but once a buffalo nickel is inserted, the machine fully turns to dispense a calculated amount. Please see the photos for the complete description. Base Length & Width: 7" X 7".
Weight: 8 pounds, 8.3 ounces.
