Vintage Regal hot peanut vending machine from Minneapolis, Minnesota is a rare find for collectors. It is an original piece from the 1940s, made of high quality. The heat element is heating and the light also works.. Although the last time I plugged it in, the light was flashing off and on.
I've never taken the bottom plate off to see if it's just a loose wire or what. This machine's glass globe is chipped at the bottom. I'll include one of the little chipped bits of glass.. I just so happened to have it. Comes with a new key, I had made specially for it.
The machine was made in Minneapolis, Minnesota and is a unique addition to any collection. I haven't tried a coin in it.. It is really nice to have a key, the light & heat working right off the bat! To prevent the globe from breaking in transit. The cord is approximately 7 feet, 3 inches long.
Various imperfections/scratches & scuffs in the paint of the base and lots of oxidation on the metal parts. Please see the photos for the complete description. Base Length & Width: 7" X 7".
Total Weight: 9 pounds, 8.8 ounces.
