Rare Vintage Blue Oak Acorn Help the Blind 5 Cent Gumball Candy Machine 50's 60s

Own a piece of history with this rare, cool looking machine! Not your typical common red color. For your kitchen counter, desk, office, or anywhere you want to display or share your candy.

This is a package deal for gumball machine lovers. You will get the machine, and a copy of an old approximately 30 page Oak company brochure/sales catalog, which has been reprinted. It has a brief history of the company, pictures of their various machines, specifications and color options, and a parts list for each machine, including the Acorn all-purpose vendor, capsule vendor, Goldmine tab gum vendor, and Premier combination gumball and card vendor.

This is a rare 5 cent Oak Acorn politically incorrect gumball candy vending machine with an embossed acorn glass globe and raised letters lid. It has a decal depicting a blind person with the request to help the blind to help themselves. It appears to have the original unrestored blue hammertone paint, with some wear on the paint and glass from age. I personally prefer unrestored machines as a true reflection of their age and history.

It is structurally sound, and there are no cracks in the glass. It comes with a working lock and 1 key. It has four old suction cup rubber feet on the bottom.

You can adjust the height of the feet or remove them, simply by unscrewing them. The chrome on the coin mechanism and flap is in decent condition, with some shine, and fine surface scratches and pitting consistent with age. The 6-lb size globe has a nice acorn shaped 5 cent decal and the politically incorrect decal.

It works fine (I had put some M&Ms in it) and vends on a nickel every time. Thanks for looking, and have a great day!
