Vintage Arcade Filmascope Basketball Trade Stimulator
Up for sale, is a fully functional 1930's Filmascope Basketball Penny Arcade Trade Stimulator. This is a beautiful machine in an Art Deco style that is truly an enjoyable game to play. It functions and plays perfectly! This is a penny machine. Place a coin in the slot and depress the handle. Depending upon where the ball bounces, both players have a total of 20 shots. The score is manually kept for each player by using the wood nuggets located on the top front of the machine. The internal mechanism is original and is fully operational. As you can see in the pictures, the outside of the cabinet considering its age, is in excellent condition and has been re-painted with the correct black paint.
The paperwork and the goal nets are original to the machine. Usually they disintegrate over time...
The steel playfield is also original and has not been re-painted. Please look carefully at the pictures, as there is some rust on the outer edges of the playfield.The ball has been replaced. As you can see in the pictures, the decals are original to the machine.
The top glass has been replaced. It appears that the side lock (with key), the front and side glass are period with this 1930's machine. Essentially this is a complete machine that would be a GREAT complement to any collection or Man-Cave. The cabinet measures: 22 1/4 wide x 10 1/2 deep x 17 3/4 tall and comes complete with rubber feet. My description of my machines are spot on.
